Patchwork into Chest Piece
Thank you so much to Colby for all the trust on several of his pieces and in putting together your tattoos. We have definitely not gotten close to being done with the future tattoo projects. Excited for what we come up with. First we added to his existing tattoo for his mother Valeria by coloring in the letters with red ink. The red ink healed so well we decided to keep adding it and design some roses to be fillers around the tattoos on his forearm. We added several pieces to fill some space such as “I have a Dream” by his healed Martin Luther King tattoo done by another artist and memorial Rosie Gold Dunks for his great grandmother done by me.
The chest piece was a two sessions and was a tribute to Northwest Arkansas and his hometown. There was creative freedom but we really worked together finding the best way to bring in all the elements tied to Colby and where he is from. I wanted to bring in the landscape so I included a waterfall with lots of greenery and trees. I am so happy with how it turned out and appreciate the trust to finish his chest piece. Thanks Again, Colby! Excited for the future designs.
